Here are my two Favorite summer Cocktails using Earl grey tea (I only use Twinnings)

1. Earl Grey Gin Fizz

Ingredients:

1 Earl Grey tea bag
1/4 cup boiling water
2 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 egg white (optional)
Ice cubes
Soda water
Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions:

Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool to room temperature.
In a shaker, combine the cooled Earl Grey tea, gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).
Dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for about 15 seconds to froth up the egg white.
Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes.
Top with soda water for a fizzy finish.
Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
Enjoy the refreshing and citrusy Earl Grey Gin Fizz!

2. Earl Grey Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

1 Earl Grey tea bag
1/4 cup boiling water
2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz simple syrup
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange twist, for garnish
Instructions:

Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool to room temperature.
In a mixing glass, combine the cooled Earl Grey tea, bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
Strain the cocktail into a glass with a large ice cube.
Express the oils from an orange twist over the glass by giving it a twist over the drink, then drop the twist into the glass.
Savor the sophisticated and aromatic Earl Grey Old Fashioned!
These Earl Grey tea-infused cocktails offer a unique twist on classic favorites, bringing the distinct flavors of the tea into the realm of mixology. Whether you choose the bright and fizzy Earl Grey Gin Fizz or the rich and aromatic Earl Grey Old Fashioned, each sip is an exploration of the intricate taste profiles that Earl Grey tea has to offer.
