Here are my two Favorite summer Cocktails using Earl grey tea (I only use Twinnings)
1. Earl Grey Gin Fizz
Ingredients:
1 Earl Grey tea bag
1/4 cup boiling water
2 oz gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 egg white (optional)
Ice cubes
Soda water
Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions:
Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool to room temperature.
In a shaker, combine the cooled Earl Grey tea, gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).
Dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for about 15 seconds to froth up the egg white.
Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled glass filled with ice cubes.
Top with soda water for a fizzy finish.
Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

2. Earl Grey Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
1 Earl Grey tea bag
1/4 cup boiling water
2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz simple syrup
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange twist, for garnish
Instructions:
Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool to room temperature.
In a mixing glass, combine the cooled Earl Grey tea, bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
Strain the cocktail into a glass with a large ice cube.
Express the oils from an orange twist over the glass by giving it a twist over the drink, then drop the twist into the glass.
