3 Ingredient Keto Low Carb Chocolate

August 26, 2018 by Shellie Wilson

This low carb Keto recipe is for Fat Bombs or homemade chocolate. This easy to make recipe only requires three ingredients and one of them is optional (the peanut butter).

Looking for an easy keto chocolate recipe that actually satisfies your sweet tooth without blowing your carb count? These 3-ingredient keto low carb chocolate fat bombs are rich, creamy, chocolatey, and ridiculously simple to make. Made with coconut oil, cocoa powder, and optional no-added-sugar peanut butter, this homemade keto chocolate recipe is perfect for anyone following a low carb lifestyle and craving a quick, no-bake treat. The original post uses just three ingredients and sets the mixture in molds or an ice cube tray, then chills it in the fridge until firm.

Whether you call them keto fat bombs, low carb chocolate bites, or sugar-free chocolate treats, these little snacks are ideal for meal prep, afternoon cravings, or keeping on hand when you need something sweet and satisfying. Because they’re made with coconut oil, they have that melt-in-your-mouth texture keto fans love, while the cocoa adds deep chocolate flavor without the sugar overload of traditional candy. They’re also easy to customize, easy to portion, and easy to store in the fridge for a grab-and-go keto snack.

For this recipe you will need

1/2 cup of coconut oil

1 tbs of Cocoa powder

1tbs of No added sugar Peanut Butter

For this recipe I used an ice cube tray as a mold.

You can use any type of plastic mold or candy mold. You can also firm this mix in the refrigerator and then roll into balls. It is however much easier just to pour in to an ice cube tray.

Start by melting your coconut oil in a microwave at 30 second intervals until it is liquid.

Add your cocoa and peanut butter to the liquid coconut oil and mix well.

Simple pour this melted mix into the ice cube tray or your mold. Set in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

As these chocolates are made with coconut oil which has a low melting point you will need to store these in the fridge.

The keto diet, short for “ketogenic,” involves eating a high amount of fat, a moderate amount of protein and very few carbs but eating all those fats can be harder than you think.  That is why Fat Bombs were created. These high-fat bombs will up your Keto fats, oh and they taste great too!
