Introducing The Katering Show * Warning*

February 14, 2015 by Shellie Wilson

katering-show

Let’s start with the warnings, shall we? The video below contains coarse language, sexual references and a whole lot of other things. So if you are not a mature open minded grownup then please do not watch. Please do not watch it and then come and tell me you shouldn’t have watched it cause well that’s kinda silly. If you don’t like this kinda funny then scroll down to another post. We won’t judge you and we ask you do not judge others for wanting to watch it.

These ladies are very funny and do a comical skit about cooking. This one has to be my favorite on the dreaded wonderful Thermoix The Katering Show. Remember don’t watch what you can’t handle.

If you love cooking shows or loathe them then you can probably relate to how funny this cooking show is. The ladies are from Australia with thick Australian accents which may take a little time for you to adjust to. It’s great to see woman having a good old fashion laugh about the realities of cooking and life.

The banter between the two ladies is very funny: One pretending to be the Foodie and the other the Food intolerant nut job.

Love it!  Which is your favorite episode?

When has it ever been mature to use obscene language and make jokes about sex? Teenagers, some not all, are masters of this. Of course, they are not mature…
I chose NOT to watch- judge away.

I enjoy being silly and enjoy other’s silliness, especially when it’s witty and intelligent. Basically, I enjoy life. I find this much preferable to conforming to prudish standards of maturity.
This video is funny as hell; with great writing and delivery.
Viva creativity and fun, or as some people might view it, immaturity!

My Favorite Salty Keto Mayonnaise Recipe

I’ll be honest — once I started making my own mayonnaise at home, I never looked back. Especially on keto, where mayo isn’t just a spread… it’s basically a food group. This version is rich, salty, and smooth, and I make a fresh jar almost every week. It’s perfect for everything from egg salad to dipping keto crackers, and honestly? I’ve been known to sneak a spoonful straight from the jar.

This salty mayo has a little extra flavor thanks to garlic and Dijon, and you can tweak the saltiness to your taste. It’s fast, foolproof, and doesn’t have any weird ingredients or fillers.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg (room temperature)

  • 1 cup avocado oil (or light olive oil)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional but recommended)

  • ¾ tsp sea salt (I sometimes go up to 1 tsp)

  • Optional: pinch of white pepper or smoked paprika

How to Make It:

  1. Add everything to a clean, wide-mouth jar or tall container.

  2. Place a stick blender at the bottom and blend on high without moving it for about 15 seconds.

  3. As the mixture thickens, slowly tilt and lift the blender to finish emulsifying.

  4. Taste it — add more salt if needed. Store in the fridge for up to a week.

A Few Tips:

  • If your mayo breaks (turns runny), just add another egg and blend again.

  • For a fun variation, mix in a bit of chili powder or everything bagel seasoning.

  • Always use fresh eggs from a trusted source.

This mayo is smooth, bold, and just salty enough to make every keto meal feel like a treat. Try it once — it might become one of your kitchen staples too.

Let me know if you try it! I love hearing how others put their own spin on it.
