Her tutorials are generally using store-bought supermarket cake hacks from Woolworths or Coles Mudcakes. Being able to buy a ready made mudcake and then just do the creative stuff is really appealing to me. I could find time to bake or decorate but not usually both.
I have to say my favorite is the Ramen Noodle cake tutorial.
This book is available for pre-order .

Snow cream is actually not a myth. S.C. has seen very little snow where I grew up at but I tasted snow cream as a child. I then made sure that I found out (from my Mom) how to make this for my own children when they were young. Just a little sugar, vanilla flavoring, and carnation evaporated milk makes this delightful frozen desert. We have very little snow but I will never forget the delightful taste of what we called snow cream.

I had this in Alaska, made with cream, sugar and vanilla, and it was really good. It was my son’s first ice cream!
