Yesterday was National Dog Day! I missed it, and I blame my new puppy for it. They aren’t kidding about being prepared for a new baby by getting a puppy. Lack of sleep has made me quite forgetful. Okay, back to the reason for this article. National Dog Day or birthdays seems to be a big deal for dog owners. I’m not sure I’ll jump on this band wagon, but I definitely want to make healthy treats for our newest member to the family.
