Her tutorials are generally using store-bought supermarket cake hacks from Woolworths or Coles Mudcakes. Being able to buy a ready made mudcake and then just do the creative stuff is really appealing to me. I could find time to bake or decorate but not usually both.
I have to say my favorite is the Ramen Noodle cake tutorial.
This book is available for pre-order .

So I guess this is the next new thing. Cake pops, mason jar cakes & now we’re doing pie pops? I’d rather spend my time licking leftover batter with my son than worry about perfecting the decoration. but i seem to be very outdated…oh well.

Pie pops, cake pops, cookie pops, marshmallows… the list goes on and on with what folks are decorating nowadays (myself being one of them). But I’m sure you aren’t alone in the camp that would rather lick the bowl and just view such things as eye candy! But my 3-year old is in the decorating camp, so that’s what we do together since she finds batter icky.
