I’m back, and am now mommy to three! Baby Ben was born last Monday, and we are both well and back home.  Â
I thought that my first post after being away on “baby business”  for a while, should somehow be baby related, so here are a few edible ideas for baby showers:Â
For edible favors you can buy baby themed chocolate molds – you can either get them at your local craft shop or online – and make cute lollipops for all your friends (don’t forget to decorate the sticks with pink or blue ribbon).Â
You can buy small pastel colored candies and pack them in small baby bottles, which can also be purchased in craft shops, or in small boxes or bags which you can print on your computer. You can find lots of free templates online. Here are a few fun ideas for making cake for your party which I found at babyshowermoments.com.  Or,  you could make baby shower cookies. For this craft you can either make your own cookie dough or buy ready made, roll it out and cut with baby themed cookie cutters. You can also decorate with ready made icings or make your own. Here are some cookie icing recipes from allrecipes.com  and cooks.com.
