Now, I just spent a day creating THIS POST on how to get rid of Peeps, but I guess you could try more realistic methods than putting them in a Starfighter to attach the Death Star (that sentence will make more sense if you click on “THIS POST“).
Here are some great ideas for using Easter Candy and Peeps:
make cookies with CakeSpy’s Serious Eats feature
enjoy a lovely evening with this Peeps drink of infused vodka
make s’mores with The Cooking Photographer (love the malice of that one standing on top)
Did you know that peeps were originally handmade? Now they are processed by a machine and take 6 minutes from start to finish, why so long? the drying time for the Marshmallow. Did you also know that original Peeps had wings? Yep, but they had to be clipped so that the process could be sped up, I mean did you even notice the wings were gone? I thought they had wings so that is Easter news to me.
make cereal bars with Budget Barbie
mix up some Peeptinis! (oh, I could use one of those right now)

I ONLY WISH I had leftover peepers… Peeps don’t come into my house without being devoured within seconds. :):) I do have lots of chocolate around— any good suggesions? :):)

I know, Amy, aren’t those s’mores gorgeous? And yes, I do have a suggestion for leftover chocolate. I’ll send you my address…

My husband says trash it or send it into work with someone! I have always hated “peeps” so the Easter bunny doesn’t buy them… but I am willing to sacrifice the chocolate eggs for somemores especially since we have marshmallows and graham crackers anyway!
