Dia de los Muertos Day Of The Dead Halloween Cookies

September 22, 2018 by Shellie Wilson

These Halloween biscuits bring a fun element to Halloween or Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead in Mexico) and we loved them so much we knew we had to feature them. How amazing do the look? Janie from Hedgecombers.com has done an amazing job of decorating them. I love how they are big ass giant cookies too. You can grab the recipe and some decorating ideas from the blog link above.

10 Ice Cubes That Instantly Elevate Prosecco

One for every colour and flavour palette — simple, beautiful, and guaranteed to impress.

There’s something magical about Prosecco. It’s the drink you can pull out for birthdays, brunches, Friday nights, or “I survived another week with the family” celebrations. And if you’ve ever wished your glass looked a little fancier without the faff, flavoured ice cubes are about to become your new best friend.

They take minutes to prep, you can freeze them weeks ahead, and honestly — they make even the cheapest bottle sparkle like something handed to you by a waiter named Luca on the Amalfi Coast.
(We can dream.)

Here are 10 gorgeous, fuss-free Prosecco ice cubes — all colour-themed, flavour-themed, and perfect for those who love a drink that looks as good as it tastes.

1. Peach Bellini Cubes (Soft Peach + Gold)

Per cube:
• 1 slice peach (fresh or tinned)
• A pinch of edible gold dust

9. Strawberry Hibiscus Cubes (Vibrant Pink)

What it does:
Adds colour, flavour, and a gentle floral tartness.

10. Blackberry Elderflower Cubes (Deep Purple + Soft White)

Per cube:
• 2 blackberries
• ½ tsp elderflower cordial

What it does:
Makes Prosecco taste like a cocktail you’d pay $18 for.

Hosting Hack: The Prosecco Cube Bar

If you want to look incredibly organised with zero effort:

Freeze one tray of each cube, line them up in little bowls on a platter, and let guests “build” their own glass. Everyone gets a personalised drink, you get to stay out of the kitchen, and suddenly you’re that host — the one who thinks of everything.
