O the fabulousness of links. It’s a wonder how one thing leads to the next to the next….almost as if the internet were a “web” of sorts.
I happened upon the “Handmade Detroit” blog, who linked to our blog. (Check out the homemade cake toppers on the first page. So great.) “Handmade Detroit,” for “people who like to make stuff” also produces Michigan’s first indie craft fair, “Detroit Urban Craft Fair.” Well, that led me to these super cute cupcake toppers by “Cathy of California.” Her blog has great information–about arts and crafts in the 60s and 70s, podcasts, links and more, as well as where to find her goods.
Which took me to Mahar Drygoods. I could spend a loooong time on their blog and all the interesting finds they have, but I digress. You could also spend a loooong time milling about their shop. Ah yes, the cupcake toppers I used to originally find Mahar Drygoods found here. And I also love that they sell Twinkle Kids products, great play cakes for kids.
This entry is way too short to do justice to all the wonderful things packed in these sites, but I won’t take up your time reading my words. So many links to get busy following!
