Gingerbread Man Salted Caramel Cupcakes

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup molasses
2 eggs
 flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2  cups all-purpose
1/4  teaspoon salt
