Wine In A Can Advent Calendar For The Hard To Buy Adult

November 18, 2022 by Shellie Wilson

When I was younger, I always looked forward to Christmas. I loved the excitement of waiting for the big day to arrive and the joy of opening all of the presents. However, as I got older, I realized that life can be really hard. I am always busy and no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to get ahead. I’m not saying that being an adult is bad – in fact, it can be really rewarding – but sometimes I just want to go back to when I was a kid and enjoy everything without all the stress.

So this is a merge of two worlds, adulting but still being a child.  Last year I bought my father a whiskey advent calendar, and he enjoyed his little tipple of alcohol each night.  Seeing how much he enjoyed it, I decided to get everyone a wine advent this year.  It is so much better than one gift on Christmas day, this gift lasts for the whole month of December.

Wine in A Can Advent Calendar

THERE ARE 24 (250ML / 8.4OZ) CANS OF GRAHAM+FISK’S 100% CALIFORNIA WINE IN EACH BOX. INCLUDES 6 CANS EACH OF ROSÉ WINE WITH BUBBLES, WHITE WINE WITH BUBBLES, RED WINE, AND WHITE WINE.

You may be thinking to yourself, what can an adult do for a gift this year that is fun and not too cheesy? Well, one fun option is to give an advent calendar! Advent calendars are a tradition in many countries and can be enjoyed by both adults and children. Here is a funny story of how my wife and I gave our daughter an advent calendar for Christmas.

Last year, our daughter was just entering kindergarten and was very excited about the holiday season. She was also very eager to get presents. We knew that she would love getting an advent calendar, so we looked for the best one that we could find. We found a really good one at a store and decided to get it for her, however, we forget about her calendar until Christmas eve.

So the day before Christmas, we gave the calendar to our daughter and told her that she had to open it all on Christmas morning. We warned her that it might be a little bit tricky to open all of the presents, but she was excited to try. She woke up on Christmas morning and started opening her presents.

The first present that she opened was a little jar of candy. She loved it and said that she was excited to try the other presents. After she finished opening her presents, she came downstairs and told us that she had opened all of the presents. We were really happy that she had enjoyed the calendar after all and that she had been able to open all of the presents.

 Tips for Enjoying Feijoas
Selecting Feijoas: Look for feijoas that yield to a little pressure—this means they’re ripe and ready to eat.

Storing Feijoas: If they’re not ripe yet, just leave them at room temperature until they soften. Once they’re ripe, pop them in the fridge to keep them fresh.

Using Feijoas: Whether you’re adding them to smoothies, salads, or baking them into treats, feijoas are super versatile and add a unique flavor wherever you use them.
