Valentine’s Day Pink Strawberry Ninja Slushie

January 11, 2026 by Shellie Wilson

A romantic strawberry milkshake slushie with chocolate drizzle

If Valentine’s Day had a flavour, this would be it.
Pink, creamy, strawberry-sweet, and finished with ribbons of chocolate sauce down the glass — this Valentine’s Day Ninja Slushie is the kind of drink that makes even a quiet night at home feel a little bit special.

It’s part milkshake, part slushie, part dessert, and honestly? It’s far more reliable than booking a restaurant on the 14th. Whether you’re sharing it with someone you love, your best girlfriends, or just treating yourself (my personal favourite option), this one absolutely delivers on the romance.

What You’ll Need

This recipe makes 2 generous romantic servings.

For the Pink Strawberry Slushie Base
– 2 cups cold full-cream milk
– 1 cup strawberries blended or finely chopped (fresh or frozen)
– 2–3 tablespoons strawberry syrup or strawberry topping
– 2 tablespoons thickened cream
– 1–2 tablespoons sugar or honey (to taste)
– Splash of vanilla essence

For Serving
– Chocolate sauce (for drizzling the glass)
– Whipped cream
– Fresh strawberries
– Optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder

I have to give a shout out to my all time favorite slushie cup these Margarita double wall tumblers are perfect for all cocktail types. I was gifted a pair of these for Christmas and I am in Love and use mine every slushie mix!

How to Make the Valentine’s Day Strawberry Ninja Slushie

Step 1: Prep the Glasses

Before you even touch the Ninja, drizzle chocolate sauce around the inside of two glasses.
Pop them in the fridge or freezer while you make the slushie — it makes everything look extra romantic and helps keep the drink cold.

Step 2: Add Everything to the Ninja

Into your Ninja Slushie Maker (or Ninja blender on Milkshake setting), add:
– milk
– finely chopped strawberries
– strawberry syrup
– cream
– sugar or honey
– vanilla

Make sure everything is nice and cold — it helps the slushie thicken beautifully.

Step 3: Blend Until Pink and Dreamy

Select MILKSHAKE and let the Ninja work its magic.
You’re looking for a thick, creamy, soft-slush texture — like a milkshake that’s been kissed by ice.

If it needs a little more thickness, increase the freeze level by one notch and let it churn a bit longer.

Serve It Like a Romantic Dessert

– Pour the pink strawberry slushie into your chocolate-drizzled glasses
– Top generously with whipped cream
– Add a fresh strawberry on top
– Finish with an extra drizzle of chocolate sauce

At this point it should look like something you’d be charged $18 for at a dessert bar — but you made it at home, in your pyjamas, which honestly makes it even better.

Make It Extra Special (Optional Upgrades)

If you want to lean fully into Valentine’s Day vibes:
– Add heart-shaped sprinkles
– Use pink or red paper straws
– Sprinkle grated chocolate over the whipped cream
– Serve with chocolate-dipped strawberries on the side

And if you’re feeling cheeky for an adults-only version, a splash of strawberry liqueur or cream liqueur works beautifully — just remember alcohol may soften the freeze slightly.

Why This Works So Well in the Ninja

The Ninja Slushie Maker is perfect for Valentine’s drinks because it gives you:
– that thick, creamy milkshake texture
– a beautifully chilled finish
– consistent results without constant blending

This isn’t an icy slush — it’s smooth, romantic, and indulgent, exactly what you want for a Valentine’s Day treat.

When to Serve This

This Pink Strawberry Ninja Slushie is perfect for:
– Valentine’s Day at home
– date night desserts
– Galentine’s gatherings
– movie night with chocolate
– or anytime you want a little pink happiness in a glass
