Stuffed Nutella Bars

January 24, 2018 by Shellie Wilson

Nutella Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of white chocolate chips
1/2 cup of Nutella

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl cream butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs until fluffy, about 4 minutes. Set aside.

3. In a smaller bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside about 3 tablespoons of the mixture.
4. Slowly add in flour mixture to wet mixture bowl and whisk together. (Do not over mix it.) Once
mixture has combined, fold in chocolate chips.

5. In a well greased 11×7 pan, add half of the cookie dough mixture, spread it over the pan for an
even layer. Dollop in round spoonfuls of Nutella evenly over the cookie dough. With the back of a
spoon, gently spread Nutella to create an even layer over the cookie dough. Top with the
remaining cookie dough mixture. Spread to create an even layer.

6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cookie dough is a nice golden brown and a toothpick inserted
in the center comes out clean.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting and serving.
Serves 12
