This was news to me. This cake in this pastry is made entirely of poppy seeds – which is apparently a great flavor in Poland.
This got sent to me via a link suggestion and I can quote from that (as the original recipe above is in Swedish):
Not often you can find the pastry based only on the poppy seeds. In Poland pastries with poppy seeds which calls makowiec are very popular and highly appreciated both for major holidays such ordinary day. This poppy seed cake with raspberry is a masterpiece and tastes fabulously good.

The cake looks divine. There used to be a Polish chef at the hospital I worked for and he made so many wonderful things from poppy seeds.
Your readers need to know that if they eat this cake they will test positive for narcotics on a drug test! It is the poppy seeds.
No prob: just take a photo of the piece of cake on your phone and save it. If you need to prove it was poppy seeds, you can show the photo.
