How do you host a party to accommodate everyone you need to invite, toddlers and kids and grown-ups, with limited time to throw it all together? Stephanie of Spaceships and Laserbeams did exactly that for her 35th. This post will be unusually long because I must share the details. I’m already planning my 35th. (Technically, my third 35th, ahem.)
To keep things manageable, the party was desserts-only and took place on a Sunday afternoon. She had a lounge area for parents, open space for the kids, and a dessert table. Decor included flowers tossed in mason jars and dollar store horses spray painted white (and that steer, that steer!). The dessert table offered cupcakes, cake pops, brownies, strawberry parfaits, popcorn and chocolate covered pretzels, as well as an “Elvis” cake (ie banana cake with peanut butter icing) from The Cake Box. She used Cowboy favor bags from Jettabees and items from the Cowboy Collection on the Spaceships and Laserbeams party printable etsy site.
