That’s right. A whole post dedicated to bacon (forgive me vegetarians, but these were too interesting to overlook). First, lollyphile. The San Francisco based company uses only high quality ingredients. That’s real bacon, sustainably farmed. They are only a year old, so thus far have three flavors: Maple-Bacon, Wasabi-Ginger, and Absinthe (yes, legal).
The uber-clever blogger of “not martha” created these bacon cups and she of course offers detailed instructions for making them. As always, you can spend much time on this site and you can learn how to do all kinds of fabulous, crafty things.
And check out “instructables” for a step-by-step to creating these bacon placemats, or bacon “textiles” as they call them.
And lastly, chocolate covered bacon. Yes. Chocolate covered bacon. They only ship to California (understandably, given weather conditions and melting), but you can also make your own with this recipe from Yumsugar, for yes, chocolate covered bacon. My husband would love this.
We love Bacon here at Craftgossip, in face we actually created a Pinterest board just for Bacon. THE WORLDS BEST BACON RECIPES.
Crazy about bacon? So I was looking around for new Bacon recipes and guess what I came across?
No, seriously you will never ever guess. A Bacon Scratch and Sniff cookbook! I know you are as curious as me right now and that is why I just had to buy it too as a gift for my bacon-loving husband.
The Bacon Scratch & Sniff Cookbook promises to sway even the most hardened vegetarians with its forty bacon-centric recipes (not to mention its nifty scratch-and-sniff feature on the book’s cover)—from piggy snacks, including caramel bacon popcorn, candied bacon strips, and bacon-wrapped sweet potato wedges, to heartier main dishes like bacon-covered mac-and-cheese burgers, smoky bacon tacos, and the ultimate pasta carbonara. Did we mention dessert too? You’ll also find bacon and pecan ice cream, choc-bacon cookies, and everything bacon imaginable. It’s time to pig out, because everything is better with bacon!

When I saw the picture of the bacon lollipops it cracked me up. My friend’s brother likes to eat chocolate with bacon bits, but I ahven’t had a chance to rty them yet. It sounds pretty gross, especially since I don’t like bacon, but this was a very amusing post!
