It Is Okay Not To Cook Dinner For Your Kids! It took me a long time to realize one of my biggest daily burnouts was trying to think of healthy meals to feed my kids. At the end of the day, I am exhausted, and making good food choices was zapping the life out of me.
So we tried lots of different solutions, from meal boxes to having dedicated “take away” nights, especially on those nights when there was sports training. But as the kids became teenagers, takeaway food wasn’t filling their empty stomachs and they were hungry when they came in from school, hungry when they finished training, and hungry before bed. Which meant I was cooking more than ever before.
I was fighting a losing battle because I felt obligated to cook for my kids, it was really having a huge impact on my life and most of all their lives and their nutrition. I was trying to do my best by feeding them, but I was feeding them quick and easy crap!
We needed, I needed a solution. That is when I came across these Proper good meals. They are nutritional and hearty and the thing I love the most is they do not require refrigeration. Why is that important? Well it means I can pop them out on the kitchen counter to remind me, teen, to eat them, I can throw them into the training bag for them to heat at training camp and we can take them camping, store them in the cupboard for isolation weeks too.
I am also doing the Keto diet, but my family is not, so this allows me to have my own Keto-ready-made meal for myself and they can choose what meals they like the best. The Keto diet is really working for me and having the convenience of these 90 seconds meals really helps me to make the right choices. They also have Low sodium, plant-based, gluten-free and Dairy free meals.
I highly recommend the Bundle box to try everything out and then work from there, they have lots of discounts including medical, bulk buy and subscriptions.
Don’t let meal planning and cooking become a source of burnout in your life. Take care of yourself and your family with easy and nutritious meal options.

It is OK not to cook dinner once in a while but obviously not every day.
