Healthy Halloween Party Foods So Fun, Even Kids Will Forget They’re Good for You

October 24, 2017 by Shellie Wilson

These healthy Halloween party snacks are perfect for a scary Halloween Party. These snacks are all based around fruit making them healthy but fun to eat. They are so easy to make that you can even get the kids helping you to make this haunted Halloween treats.

Banana ghosts – For these you need to split your banana in half length ways and chill them in the fridge. Once chilled use melted chocolate in a piping bag to add the face. it’s best to chill the bananas first so the chocolate doesn’t run off whilst you are drawing on the face.

Grape Eye balls –  These grape eyeballs have been decorated with white and brown chocolate, but you can also buy icing eyeballs that can be added to the grape with a little icing sugar or sugar syrup.

Mandarin Pumpkins –  For these mandarin healthy fruit pumpkins you will need some celery to form the stem. These are actually great for packing for school lunches for a frightful Halloween lunch box treat.

Apple teeth –  For the apple teeth you need 1.4 inch thick slices of apples cut in halves, then add peanut butter, jam or Nutella to each slice. Fill the middle with mini marshmallows to form the scary edible Halloween teeth.

We chose to serve ours with a yoghurt dip, nothing flash just straight out of a tub and drizzled with white

chocolate to form the web.
