The inventor of the Jelly Belly (you know, those wee size flavored jelly beans that blow all other jelly beans away?), David Klein, created this gummi version of an anatomical heart that actually oozes candy blood. Of course my first thought was Eeeew (the point, I imagine). But I gotta say, after reading how Mr. Klein prematurely sold his creation and was consequently written out of the Jelly Belly story, and how frustrating that must be to see your invention in the hands of others, I’m rootin’ for the gummi heart. Read about it HERE at Aol News. And read more and find information on the upcoming documentary on Mr. Klein, Candyman, HERE.
Making your own gummies has become very popular as it allows you to control the ingredients and let’s face it store-bought gummies are so expensive to buy. To make your own gummies you will need basic supplies such as Gelatin Sheets and a Gummy mold. You can use any type, shape of mold, choose one that your family will love and a size that they can manage.
You can also check out this Gummy Recipe book we found on Amazon too.

Oh geez! I just fixed it. (The amazon link was for the Snowman Stew post. I must’ve written both at about the same time and made a mistake.) Thanks so much for bringing that to my attention, Shelly, and sorry for any inconvenience!
