Crispy Bacon Grilled Cheese Roll Ups

Two favorite foods rolled into one! Okay, maybe not to everyone.

I was out with my friends one day, and we were talking about food. One of my friends mentioned how much she loved bacon sandwiches. I had never had one before, so she decided to make me one.

I was really excited to try it, but when I took my first bite, I was really disappointed. It was just a piece of bacon between two slices of bread. I mean, don’t get me wrong, bacon is delicious. But a bacon sandwich? It just didn’t do it for me.

I think the problem was that I was expecting something different. I was expecting something more than just bacon and bread. I was expecting something special. But in the end, it was just a sandwich.  So I set out to find a bacon sandwich that was so much more than just bacon on bread.

Holly at Spend with Pennies shows you how to roll a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. Great idea! Holly has lots of great ideas, including a no-bake rolo pie that caught my eye. Check out her site!

This might be the perfect pick me up for the rainy and chilly forecast this weekend. Now to figure out if we will watch a movie or play board games while enjoying them.

  16. Seriously? Do people even care about their health and well being? I’m all for yummy but this looks like instant heartburn and is why most Americans are sporting an extra 15 pounds or so. And the scariest thing…most of you drooling over this “recipe” are probably wishing profoundly that they were only a mere 15 pounds overweight. The choices we make are why we’re happy or not. Food that doesn’t nourish the body as well as the soul are why you feel like crap. Just sayin’….
