I once got in an argument with a big-chain (you know the one) coffee shop employee over the hotness of my coffee. She was horribly annoyed when I didn’t want her to pour my drip coffee and leave it on the counter waiting the ten-plus minutes I knew it would take to go through the long line to the register. (By the way, I’ve been a barista, I’ve worked retail for 20 years, I’m not a problem customer.) She was so bothered by my explanation that I like my coffee as hot as possible (ie. freshly poured) that I left without coffee. The point of this too-long story? I like hot coffee. I pour a cup in the morning and microwave it over and over to keep it hot. So I’m terribly intrigued by this product I spotted on the kitchn. Metal coffee beans that keep your coffee at 140 degrees for hours. Hours. Learn more about Coffee Joulies HERE. And orders are being taken HERE at Kickstarter.

I’m with you, I like my coffee HOT!!! I’ll have to get some of these ‘beans’ for myself and family members who also enjoy their coffee hot. Thank you for sharing!
I drink tea and I like it nice and hot too! Heck if I wanted it cold, I’d have an iced tea right?!! Thanks for sharing!
