Eggnog Cheesecake Bars

December 7, 2015 by Carolyn Bickford

eggnogg cheesecake
It is not the holidays, till the eggnog is poured. I don’t even need the alcohol, just straight from the bottle eggnog. This cheesecake bar does have 2 tablespoons of rum in it, but you could probably reduce or skip that step. Maybe Santa would enjoy one of these bite size delights along with the sugar cookies, while putting presents … Read More ...

Oh fudge! This is a great alternative to baked goods as holiday gifts for friends and family. Plus, it is microwaved so you aren’t a slave to the oven. Which is helpful in the warm weather areas and if you and your oven have love hate relationship. Currently, me and my oven when trying to make things for others.

Jack Frost Cocktail
For some of us, the holidays mean having a few drinks with friends and family. These Jack Frost cocktail may be blue, but it will feel like the tropics after the first sip. December 5, 2015 by Carolyn Bickford

chocolate chai cut-out cookies
Move over sugar cookies, something yummier has come along. Although we will still make our traditional sugar cookies, I am definitely going to make these too. I watched a baking show and they made chocolate sugar cookies for a night time theme for the holidays. Is that not a cool idea? I wish I was creative in the kitchen.

December 5, 2015 by Carolyn Bickford

snowy gingerbread christmas trees
Do you prefer homemade gifts or store bought? I prefer homemade because someone put their heart and time into it. Sometimes their blood and tears too. If you’ve ever worked with a glue gun or forgot to put on oven mitts or tried sewing by hand, then you know what I’m talking about. Maybe I’m the only one that does … Read More ...
