As the weather cools, I tend to shy away from ice cream, because it makes me cold. Now I can enjoy the idea of ice cream, but in a cupcake form.
Lizzy at Your Cup of Cake shows how to combine two different flavors of cupcake batter to create the banana split. She uses chocolate and yellow cake mix. In the yellow cake mix she adds banana and freeze dried strawberries. Freeze dried not frozen strawberries. She puts a small scoop of chocolate on one side of the liner and then adds a small scoop to the other side of the liner to get the half and half look.
Now you can have cake and ice cream all in one.
