Bake Bread in a Pringles Can

October 25, 2011 by Meaghan Mountford

Why do I think this is just the coolest thing ever? Maybe because I love Pringles like no other potato chip. Learn to bake bread in a Pringles can HERE at Prunille fait son show. And by the way, if you’re also a Pringles fan, check out this previous post.

I’m not sure I understand the directions because the translation isn’t real great. It says to bake at 210 Celsius and the conversion to Fahrenheit says that is 410. That seems way to hot of an oven for 45 minutes. Also, it has a comment about baking it in a slow oven which 400 definitely isn’t!! Anyone speak French? Thanks!!

I second that plea! Please, anyone who speaks French weigh in. As this site is read all over the world, I want to continue to include links to not-just-English-speaking sites, but ahhh, translation is where things always get tricky! especially in baking with precise instructions and that whole metric conversion thing.

My thoughts… I’d probably bake at 350 for about an hour, testing periodically with a skewer.

Have tried the recipe yet Meaghan or Jan? 350 for an hour sounds good….wat’ about the actual dough recipe? If you have tried it, could you pleez’ let me kno’ your dough recipe? I don’t bake, so it sounds foreign to me….my friend sent me the link & I want to try it! Thank you!
