23 Pie Recipes to Celebrate “Pi Day”

March 4, by Carolyn Bickford. 2 Comments

Pi-Day-Round-up-of-Pie-Recipes-copy
This year “Pi Day” is going to be epic. Pi day is March 14th because pi=3.14. The next two number after 14 are 15, which is the exact date this year 3/14/15. If you really want to get crazy, plan on having the pie at 9:26 am or pm because those numbers fall into place after the 15. Whoa, mind blowing? Okay maybe not for everyone, but a good excuse to enjoy some pie.

20 Must Try Recipes Using Cadbury Creme Easter Eggs

Cadbury Creme Eggs have been a staple of Easter celebrations since their introduction in 1963. These delightful treats have captured the hearts of people all around the world with their smooth fondant centers and rich chocolate shells. The popularity of Cadbury Creme Eggs has only grown over the years, and they have become a beloved Easter tradition in many households.

A bit of a history of Cadbury and Creme Egg

Cadbury, a British confectionery company, first introduced the Creme Egg as a limited edition product in the UK. The product was so popular that it became a regular Easter offering in the UK in 1971. It was only in 1985 that the Creme Egg made its way across the Atlantic to the US, where it quickly gained a following.

The Cadbury Creme Egg is a chocolate egg filled with white and yellow fondant. The white fondant represents the egg white, while the yellow fondant represents the yolk. The chocolate shell is made from Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate, which gives it its unique and delicious flavor. You have to have a sweet tooth for the fondant, for me it is super sweet.

Over the years, Cadbury has come up with many creative ways to enjoy their Creme Eggs. From classic Creme Egg-filled cupcakes to decadent Creme Egg cheesecake, the possibilities are endless. It’s no wonder that people are always searching for new and exciting ways to incorporate these delicious treats into their favorite desserts.

One of the reasons why Cadbury Creme Eggs have remained so popular is their limited availability. They are only available during the Easter season, which makes them a special treat that people look forward to all year round. In addition, the unique combination of chocolate and fondant is a crowd-pleaser, and it’s hard to resist the creamy, sweet filling that oozes out of the egg.

Another reason for the continued popularity of Cadbury Creme Eggs is their nostalgic value. Many people have fond memories of enjoying Creme Eggs as children, and they continue to enjoy them as adults. For many, the arrival of the Creme Eggs on store shelves signals the start of spring and the beginning of Easter celebrations.

It was a sweet and delicious lunch that we both enjoyed. He told me that it was a healthy milkshake because it had “eggs” in it. Although the eggs he referred to were not real eggs, this milkshake is still a decadent treat that you won’t be able to resist.
