Strawberries are naturally sweet and slightly tarty, with a juicy, refreshing texture. Where, chocolate is rich and decadent, with a smooth and creamy texture. When these two flavors are combined, they create a perfect balance of sweet and rich, with a hint of tartness from the strawberries. The perfect combo for your taste buds.
In addition to their complementary flavors, strawberries and chocolate are also visually appealing. The bright red color of the strawberries contrasts beautifully with the deep brown of the chocolate, creating a visually stunning treat.

Want to make your own Strawberry pancake syrup? Here is my go to recipe for making a syrup
easy homemade strawberry pancake syrup:
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch (to thicken)
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries have broken down and the syrup has thickened slightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water to create a slurry.
Add the cornstarch slurry to the strawberry mixture and stir to combine. Let the mixture simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the syrup has thickened to your desired consistency.
Remove the pan from heat and let the syrup cool for a few minutes before serving.
Drizzle the warm strawberry pancake syrup over your favorite pancakes, waffles, or French toast. Enjoy!
Note: This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to make a larger batch of syrup. Leftover syrup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Simply reheat in the microwave or on the stove before serving.
Another new favorite of mine is Rosewater syrup, a drizzle of this over my strawberry pancakes is divine and you can even add some edible rosebuds for an extra romantic touch.
