Pokemon Pokeball Cookies

September 14, by Mel. Leave a Comment

These adorable Pokeball sugar cookies are perfect for any Pokemon party or simply for a fan! Sugar cookie dough is great to work with when using designs as it doesn’t change the consistency when forming it into the shapes you want.

I remember Pokemon being such a huge part of my childhood. I tried so hard to collect all the cards, traded them with friends, and had every game you could think of Pokemon related for my Gameboy color. (Ooof, right in the nostalgic feels).

Being that Pokemon doesn’t seem to be as huge as it was in the mid to late ’90s, I do believe any millennial or former Pokemon lover would enjoy a familiar treat with this easy recipe. It’s nice to go back to the old days sometimes. 🙂

DYK?: The rarest Pokemon card in existence sold for a whopping $20,000 on eBay. Only 39 copies of “Illustrator Pikachu” were made and given specifically to children that submitted designs for new cards in two separate contests in 1997 and 1998. There’s only one card on eBay that can be found at the moment, and the seller has a Buy Now price of $100,000.

It honestly makes me wonder how collectors afford their hoard. That, and maybe just a tad jealous.
