Immunity-Boosting Smoothie
Perfect for breakfast or a mid-day pick-me-up
Ingredients:
1 cup orange juice (fresh-squeezed if possible)
½ cup frozen mango chunks
½ cup frozen pineapple
1 small banana
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
½ tsp ground turmeric
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tbsp honey (optional)
¼ tsp black pepper (to activate turmeric)
½ cup water or coconut water (adjust for consistency)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as needed.
Serve immediately for maximum freshness and nutrient absorption.
Tip: Freeze into popsicle molds for a sore throat soother with benefits!
Immunity-Boosting Hot Tea Elixir
Soothing, warming, and packed with natural flu-fighters
Ingredients:
2 cups hot water
1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
1 tbsp raw honey
¼ tsp ground turmeric
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Optional: 1 cinnamon stick or star anise for added flavor
Instructions:
In a saucepan, bring water and ginger to a gentle simmer for 5–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain into a mug.
Stir in lemon juice, ACV, honey, turmeric, and cayenne.
Sip slowly and breathe in the soothing steam.
Tip: Add a splash of whiskey for a homemade hot toddy when needed (responsibly!).
