Halloween Donut Ghosts

August 13, by Shellie Wilson. Leave a Comment

Ingredients

Hosting a Halloween Party? Check out these Halloween Party Decorations or maybe you want to download and print your own Halloween designs? Check out these Halloween printables, digital stamps, invitations and files from Design bundles.

– 1 box of cake mix (we used Krispy Kreme Cake Mix)
– 2 Eggs
– 2/3 Cup of Water
– 1/3 Cup of Vegetable Oil
– White Wilton Candy Melts

– Black Icing

– Wilton Donut Pan
Directions

– Mix the cake mix, water, vegetable oil and eggs according to the cake mix box.
– Spray donut pan with cooking spray.
– Pour the donut mix into a measuring cup for easy pouring. Pour the donut mix into the donut pan, making sure not to fill all the way to the top.
Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
 Let cool for 5 minutes.
Melt the white candy melts in the microwave or with this Wilton Melting Pot.
Dip the top of the donut into the white candy melts and then place on a plate. Let harden for 5 minutes.
Use the black icing to draw two black ovals for eyes right above the hole in the donuts to make it look like a screaming ghost! I used the black Wilton icing and a No. 2 round tip.
Enjoy this spooky treat for Halloween!
