Love the idea BUT you should know ZIPLOC does not recommend heating their bags – I found out when I suggested making “omelets in a baggie” and was innudated with emails NOT to!

Thanks Linda! Excellent point (and I once saw a similar comment craziness after an omelet-in-a-baggie post elsewhere). I’m assuming it’s a BPA issue, so good one to heed. However, I think light heat on the outside edges, rather than submerging in boiling water, would be OK, especially if done sparingly and infrequently, as repeated exposure to the chemicals is the greater issue, but that’s me living on the chemical edge! 🙂 But super important to point out Ziploc’s recommendations. I didn’t even think about that!
