Makes 12 cupcakes
Ingredients
1 box of triple chocolate mix
3 eggs
1/2 C (1 stick) of softened unsalted sweet cream butter
1 1/4 C whole milk
cupcake liners
cupcake pan

Chocolate Frosting

1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2 1/2 C powder sugar
1/2 C hershey cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
1 box of whoppers chocolate candy
1 bag of chocolate melting wafers
1 bag of caramel squares candy, unwrapped
1 package of small edible eyes
mini circle cookie cutter
1 piping bag fitted with a star tip

For the cupcakes:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, butter, eggs, and milk. Use a standing mixer to beat the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  3. Scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about 3/4 of the way full. You can use a medium ice cream scoop to help get the batter into the liners evenly.
  4. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for about 21 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and set them aside to cool.

For the frosting and decorating:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream. Beat the ingredients together with a standing mixer until the frosting is smooth and creamy. If the frosting seems too thick or powdery, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream to make it more smooth.
  2. Scoop the frosting into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  3. Take the cooled cupcakes and pipe the frosting all around the top of each one, using a circular motion to create a spiral of frosting.
  4. If desired, you can add any additional decorations to the cupcakes, such as sprinkles, chocolate chips, or small candies.
  5. Serve the cupcakes immediately, or store them in an airtight container until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Take two chocolate melting wafers and place them on the top corner for the ears of the bear.

Take one caramel square and use your fingers to kind of play with it to get it soften up, then place it onto a cutting board or plate and flatten it out using either the bottom of a glass cup, or a rolling pin.

Take the mini circle cookie cutter and cut out the mouth part of the bear. Next, place the caramel circle onto the center of the frosting and place two candy eyes above the caramel circle.

Using leftover frosting, add a tiny amount onto the back of the Whopper candy. Finally, place the Whopper onto the top center of the caramel circle.
