Every time I go to a bakery, I always have the scone. I’m afraid to make them at home, because I’m afraid they’ll be hard as a hockey puck. Kind of like biscuits, they never seem to come out flaky and buttery. I think I overwork the dough, but I digress. This would be great for a brunch. You could also make this for your Valentine’s breakfast in bed or it can be a dessert.
