Some things about me that you may already know: I adore children’s literature and studied the stuff for both of my masters degrees. I, my mom, and my grandmother have always adored Beatrix Potter. I adore food history. I adore Christmas and all the kitchen aromas it brings. I’m bookmarking with a jillion stars this Beatrix Potter recipe for Gingerbread found and posted on the kitchn.

read all the comments but no one asked what wheat meal is… so I will!! What’s what meal

Hee hee, good question! It’s a kind of flour. The term is outdated (of course). It’s different from wholemeal, but brown in color. The wheatgerm has been removed. Maybe in organic groceries or health food stores? My guess would be that white flour, that has had the wheat germ removed, would be the closest. Anyone else know?

There’s no grammatical rule that states you must put yourself last; it’s a matter of being polite only. I was instead going chronologically up. See? I even ended a sentence with a preposition.
