5 Easy No-Bake Slices You Can Make and Gift This Holiday Season

November 27, 2025 by Shellie Wilson

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that homemade gifts taste better — especially when they’re wrapped in love and a little chocolate. Between the school wind-down, wrapping marathons, and the annual “who’s bringing dessert?” panic, I’ve come to rely on one sweet holiday secret: no-bake slices.

They’re quick, delicious, and perfect for gifting. You don’t need an oven, a degree in pastry, or even much patience — just a saucepan, a tray, and a festive mood. So grab that wooden spoon and let’s make something worth sharing (and maybe sneaking a piece of before you gift it).

1. Mars Bar Slice – The Classic Crowd Pleaser

Ingredients

  • 4 full-size Mars Bars (or 160 g mini bars)

  • 90 g butter

  • 3 cups Rice Bubbles (Rice Krispies)

  • 200 g milk chocolate, melted (for topping)

Directions

  1. Grease and line a slice tin (approx. 20 cm square).

  2. Chop the Mars Bars and place them in a saucepan with the butter.

  3. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth and glossy.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Bubbles until coated.

  5. Press mixture firmly into the lined tin.

  6. Pour melted milk chocolate over the top and smooth out.

  7. Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing.

To gift: Wrap squares in parchment, then tuck into a small box with ribbon.

2. Biscoff Fudge Slice – Spiced Cookie Perfection

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Biscoff biscuits (approx. 250 g), crushed

  • 1 tin (395 g) sweetened condensed milk

  • 200 g white chocolate, melted

  • 2 tbsp Biscoff spread

  • Extra whole biscuits for topping

Directions

  1. Line a 20 cm slice tin with baking paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix crushed biscuits with melted white chocolate and condensed milk.

  3. Stir in Biscoff spread until evenly combined.

  4. Press mixture firmly into tin and smooth the top.

  5. Place whole Biscoff biscuits over the top in neat rows.

  6. Chill for 2 hours before slicing into bars.

To gift: Wrap individually in wax paper or place in small treat bags with gold ribbon.

Keywords: Biscoff fudge, no-bake slice, Christmas dessert gift

3. Turkish Delight Rocky Road – Pretty and Pink

Ingredients

  • 400 g dark or milk chocolate, melted

  • 1 ½ cups marshmallows, halved

  • ½ cup pistachios or almonds

  • 180 g Turkish Delight chocolate bars, chopped

  • ½ cup coconut (optional)

Directions

  1. Line a square baking tin with parchment paper.

  2. Combine marshmallows, nuts, and Turkish Delight pieces in a large bowl.

  3. Pour over melted chocolate and stir gently to coat everything evenly.

  4. Spoon into prepared tin and spread out evenly.

  5. Refrigerate until firm (about 2 hours), then slice into chunks.

To gift: Dust with icing sugar and layer in clear cellophane bags with gold ties.

4. No-Bake Date Balls – Healthy Chocolate Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates (pitted)

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • ½ cup desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling)

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1–2 tbsp warm water (if needed)

Directions

  1. In a food processor, blend dates until smooth.

  2. Add oats, cocoa, coconut, and honey. Blend until the mixture sticks together.

  3. If it’s too dry, add a spoon of warm water.

  4. Roll into small balls and coat with extra coconut.

  5. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

  • ½ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup crushed biscuits (like Digestives or Graham Crackers)
  • 200 g milk chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions

  2. Melt peanut butter and butter together until smooth.
  3. Stir in crushed biscuits and Butterfinger pieces.
  4. Press mixture into the pan.
  5. Pour melted chocolate over the top and spread evenly.

A Sweet Way to Gift from the Heart

No-bake slices are my go-to when I need quick, handmade gifts that still feel special. Pop a few into cellophane bags, add a festive ribbon, and you’ve got something that tastes like a warm hug and looks Pinterest-perfect.
