October 3, 2020 by Shellie Wilson

If you’re looking to take your Halloween party to the next level, it’s time to serve drinks that are just as spooky as your decorations. Forget plain cocktails—this list of 40 Halloween cocktail recipes is packed with creepy, creative, and colorful drinks that look like they came straight out of a haunted bar. From blood-red shots with floating “eyeballs” to eerie green potions topped with candy and smoke, these recipes are not only fun to drink but also a feast for the eyes.

The best part? You don’t need to be a professional bartender to whip these up. Each recipe is easy to make at home with simple ingredients and a few clever tricks, like candy garnishes, glow-in-the-dark ice cubes, or syringes filled with “blood.” They’re perfect for any gathering—whether you’re throwing a big costume party, hosting a spooky dinner with friends, or just want a chilling drink to sip while handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

So grab your shaker, some spooky props, and a splash of Halloween spirit. These 40 hauntingly delicious cocktail recipes will keep your guests entertained, your party buzzing, and your night unforgettable.

Please tell me I do not need to explain a cocktail to anyone. Okay, I will, A cocktail is a blend of drinks put into a glass, usually colorful and festive to help people drown their sorrows and pretend they are someplace else, such as a tropical island. Hence the need for juice in so many of these Applebee’s Halloween copycat cocktails.  Of course, cocktails are not complete without little umbrellas or in this case plastic spiders and marshmallow eyeballs.

How about making some Jello Shots for the adults?

Halloween  Jello Shots

Prep: 20 Minutes
In Active Time: 8 Hours
Cook: 8 Minutes

Serves: 7 cups for 5.5 oz. size or 14 shots for 2.2 oz. size

Ingredients:

1 – 6 oz. box orange Jell-o
2 cups water(or 1 cup hot water and 1 cup rum)
2 cups hot water
whipped topping for topping
confetti sprinkles for topping
7 or 14 -Halloween pumpkin toppers

Instructions:

Make jell-o as direct on package. If you would like to add rum then replace 1 cup cold water with 1 cup rum in the recipe.

Place the jell-o in the fridge for up to 8 hours or until set. Once jell-o is set move to the next step.

Fill each cup with a little whipped topping. Sprinkle the top with sprinkles. Place the topper into the jell-o.

Serve cold!

How to make the topper:

Import the png image into cricut design space. Upload it to the design board. Once it is imported then it’s time to use it as a print and cut. At the top is the print and cut selection. Make sure to select this.

You will need a blue cutting mat. Once you print the design then place on the blue cutting mat and follow the on-screen cut directions. Be sure to set the dial on your cricut to light cardstock for best results.

Once the image is cut then hot glue a toothpick to the back. Let dry and the toppers are ready to use.
