Mixology: Craft Soda Cocktails

July 3, by Vikram Goyal. Leave a Comment

mixology

The Craft & Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) in LA hosts a craft soda tasting, highlighting the creativity and versatility of handmade sodas and spirits. Barley Forge Brewing, Los Angeles Aleworks, Pipe Dream Brewery, and LA River Brewing Company showcase their non-alcoholic interests by providing a diverse array of sodas, while Greenbar Distillery provides spirits from their award-winning organic portfolio. Sodas and spirits merge in the imagination of Gia St. George, who creates a unique cocktail around each soda.

Greg Nylen, founder of Barley Forge and CAFAM Trustee, creates award-winning beers and dedicates the same careful devotion to his craft sodas. He has had great success with ginger and root beer and has been experimenting with more unconventional soda varieties. Greg will also open the afternoon with a brief presentation on the production of craft sodas.
