I spotted cookie dough balls snipped into flowers on Pinterest and they come from a holiday roundup, but I think they scream Spring a little louder than Christmas. Find the how-tos to make them HERE at Better Homes and Gardens.

These cookies look so beautiful and tried couple of time already since you posted them, but they didn’t come out like this picture… not even close. the flower is all spread out into a flat cookie with little signs of a flower shape. greatly appreciate if anyone has any idea on how to make these.
Thank you!

Yikes, I haven’t tried to make these myself yet, I was just posting on the instructions over at Better Homes and Gardens. Did you use their recipe, or your own for cookie dough? A few of my own tips to prevent cookies from spreading: Make sure the dough is well-chilled, I chill it for two hours before working with it. Make sure your oven is fully preheated, and it’s useful to check that your oven is at the accurate temperature with a thermometer. Use sturdy, good quality baking trays, and bake one tray at a time in the center of the oven. And the most common cause for cookie spreading is over-softening the butter in the recipe. Hope this helps!
