Craft Gossip

I’ve always put bread bowls in the category of “cool concept, but probably too difficult to make my own.” Seems I was wrong. The lovely, info filled site “Apple Pie, Patis, and Pate” (pretend the accents are in place, as how to do this eludes me), gives us a simple-seeming recipe and how-to. The site’s subtitle, “On learning to be a culinary Jack-of-all-Trades,” seems apt, as they have about 5 billion food categories from which to choose (number may be ever-so-slightly exaggerated, but still, there are a lot).  We’re expecting our first snowfall of the season tomorrow. How perfect would these bowls be filled with some hot stew?
