Make a Rainbow Cake

I’ve opined before on the importance of good photography for foodie blogs (see my post here on tips), perhaps because of my own struggles on my own foodie blog (alas, that tension between a fancy new camera and a lack of knowledge). Well, the clever, funny, food-filled blog, “the Omnomicon” certainly fulfills that good photography requirement. The photo below drew me in to “how to make a rainbow cake!” She offers step-by-step instructions on creating this fun cake as well as lots o’ crisp close ups to guide you. And I’m totally with our blogger with regard to letting Betty Crocker do what she does best.

    omg i love this cake i am soo in love with the rainbow… i am going to try and make this just for fun and then maybe for my honey’s bday… im just amazed
