I first found these darling “mushrooms” on the “Museum of Happiness” blog. Scroll down her “Food” page and find all kinds of edible craft links (I especially like the link to Rainbow Jell-O from the “Do Better” blog). After some quick digging, I found the original link for the tomato-topped eggs at “The Clubhouse Scene,” a Texas-based children’s party planner. The eggs were used at a fairy tale themed party. (You can find other clever ideas on their site as well.) And after even more digging, I found a comparable how-to for the appetizer at “Taste of Home.” They are devilishly easy to make, so I’m sure you could’ve used logic based on the photograph, but it’s so nice to have it all printed up for you.
