Make Your Own Peppermint Patties

Find these yummily photographed (is “yummily” a word?) heart-shaped peppermint patties at Erin Cooks, a lovely foodie blog. Our blogger not only has aforementioned yummy-looking photographs, but she also provides lots of handy notes to make creating the patties easier. The post can be found here.

And a couple notes of my own…I’ve made similar patties myself and used a circle cookie cutter, so these are great even beyond Valentine’s Day. And I’ve made them as a dessert gift for vegan dinner hosts (using a vegan dark chocolate coating). So very friendly to all!
