I just found this shop and am completely entranced: Blue Rock Gourds. While stained and painted butterfly houses, birdhouses and birdfeeders made from gourds are not edible per se, certainly these lovely, crafted gourds qualify for inclusion here. Choose from ice cream bases including sweet cream, mousse, and gelato in a variety of flavors, like chocolate or caramel. Even lollies have gone couture, at least in Tinseltown. These bejeweled lollipops can be found at Sugar Factory (and a lot more is on the way, including a new “entertainment spot”). The $22 handles come in a variety of colors, like Silver Bullet, Berry Bling, and Tiffany. The heads come in $12 packs of three.
