This is not a new idea Primanti Brothers restaurant in Pittsburgh has been doing this for many years with all kinds of sandwiches. I call it death on a plate!!!

I don’t get it. I would’ve expected them to make it cost more than a dollar, to be honest. After all, a plain cheap burger is usually on the dollar menu (or 99 cents), so what’s the point of this? People who want fries on their burgers would usually want fries to eat on their own, too, I would think, so they’d be buying fries anyway….
I just don’t get it.

In response to the person who mentioned Primanti Brothers who called it “death on a plate”, this burger wasn’t made for sedentary people. It was made for people with physical jobs who didn’t have time or desire to linger over a diet plate from some little cafe.
